Zaheen Chowdhury is from Memphis, Tennessee, and is majoring in health and society with minors in Arabic and public policy and international affairs. She is a President’s Scholar and a member of the University Honors Program. At SMU, Zaheen is involved in the Muslim Student Association, serves on the Library Advisory Board, is a student facilitator for the Emerging Leaders Program, and conducts research in the Mental Health Equity Lab. She also serves as a board member for the Texas Ramp Project through the 51³Ô¹ÏÍøBoard Fellows Program. Zaheen is passionate about health equity, educational reform, and international diplomacy. After graduation, she plans to attend medical school and pursue a career in public health, working to advance both local and global health policy solutions.
