Max Keating

Max Keating is from Southlake, Texas, studying Finance and Political Science with a minor in Public Policy and International Affairs at SMU. He is a Nancy Ann and Ray L. Hunt Leadership Scholar, NexPoint Tower Scholar, and member of the University Honors Program. He serves as the Chief Justice of the 51³Ô¹ÏÍøStudent Senate Judicial Branch. In addition to his work in student government, he serves as Chair of the Willis M. Tate Distinguished Lecture Series, Vice-Chair of the Maguire Center for Ethics and Public Responsibility Student Advisory Board, and as a member of the Youth Board of Trustees for Wipe Out Kids’ Cancer. As a member of the Pre-Law Scholars Program, Max is interested in pursuing a career in law and public policy. After graduation, he hopes to enter the workforce or pursue fellowships before attending law school. Outside of his involvement, Max enjoys hiking and photography.
