Tess Balentine joined the 51³Ô¹ÏÍøAcademic Development of Student-Athletes team in January 2023
as a Quantitative Learning Specialist. Tess has been a tutor in ADSA since August 2016, providing subject-specific support in Mathematics, Statistical Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Spanish, and related courses. She earned a B.S. in Mathematics from 51³Ô¹ÏÍøin May 2018. While earning her Bachelor’s Degree, Tess was Captain of the 51³Ô¹ÏÍøCheer Team. Prior to SMU, Tess previously worked as an Analyst at JPMorgan Chase. Born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona, Tess currently resides in Dallas.
ADSA provides academic counseling to help student-athletes make informed decisions about their degree, major selection, plan their semester courses, and maintain their NCAA eligibility.
