DASS Peer Mentor Program

A DASS Peer Mentor is Here to Help

The DASS Peer Mentor Program is a free service that helps new students with disabilities to transition successfully to 51³Ô¹ÏÍøand then continue that success. Peer mentors offer practical support, encouragement, and peer-to-peer insight on academic life, campus resources, and navigating 51³Ô¹ÏÍøwith a disability. The program fosters connection, guidance, and empowerment.

New to SMU? Connect with a DASS Peer Mentor for a strong start!

Getting started at 51³Ô¹ÏÍøcan feel exciting, but also overwhelming. To make that transition smoother and keep you more connected, utilize the DASS Peer Mentor Program. Your mentor is a fellow 51³Ô¹ÏÍøstudent with a disability – someone whoknows the ropes and can help you find your way.

Continuing students can benefit, too!
