The Office of the Senior Advisor to the Provost works to enhance the education of all 51³Ô¹ÏÍøstudents and increase the stature of the University by partnering with the Schools and College to promote curricular innovation and collaboration within a unified framework that respects the requirements of accrediting bodies and SMU’s own governing policies. This work is carried on primarily through the 51³Ô¹ÏÍøAbroad Office, the 51³Ô¹ÏÍøIntersessions Office, the SMU-in-Taos Office, the Council on General Education, the Educational Programs Committee, along with the Associate Deans, the Associate Provosts of Faculty and Student Affairs, the Associate Vice President of Enrollment Management, the Dean of the Graduate Studies and the Directors of Assessment and Accreditation and Institutional Effectiveness.
