Hours
The Underwood Law Library welcomes members of the public Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Members of the State Bar of Texas and DALL may access the library during regular open hours by presenting a valid bar card or proof of DALL membership.
Note: Public access hours are limited during final exams.
Services
Guests may:
- Use print materials
- Access photocopiers, printers, and scanners
- Consult with a reference librarian
Librarians can assist with finding materials but cannot provide legal advice.

Most reserve materials may be checked out for 2 hours and must be used inside the library. A valid ID is required.
Overdue materials accrue fines. Items not returned within 30 days are considered lost and will incur:
- Accrued fines
- Replacement cost
- $25 processing fee per item
Print, Copy, & Scan
Multi-function machines are available on the second floor.
To make photocopies or print documents, you will need to create an account online.
The machines can also scan documents. Scanned files are delivered by email. Because of file size limits, scans are limited to 60 pages. Scanning is free, but you will need a user account.
