The 51³Ô¹ÏÍøand greater community is invited to a dedication of a memorial bench in memory of 51³Ô¹ÏÍøPolice Officer Mark McCullers. The dedication will take place at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, in front of Patterson Hall on the 51³Ô¹ÏÍøcampus, 3128 Dyer St.
Officer McCullers died July 5, 2016, after being swept away by floodwaters while working off-duty as a private security guard at a Highland Park construction site. He had served as a member of the 51³Ô¹ÏÍøPolice Department Patrol Division since February 2015.
