The University, includingÌýSMU-in-Legacy,Ìýis open today but officials are monitoring the weather situation.

IfÌýa decision is made to close SMU, the following stepsÌýwill beÌýtaken to notify the university community:

  • An e-mail message will be sent to all students, faculty and staff.Ìý

  • Closing announcements may be obtained by calling 214-SMU-INFO (214-768-4636). Please do not call the 51³Ô¹ÏÍøPolice Department.
    Ìý
  • Closing announcements will be posted on the 51³Ô¹ÏÍøweb site.

The following radio and television stations will be notified if a decision is made to close 51³Ô¹ÏÍøbecause of inclement weather.
