Before joining 51³Ô¹ÏÍøDedman School of Law in 1989, Greg Ivy spent four years practicing law as an associate attorney with Buchanan, Barnett, Schofield & Kent in Tyler, Texas, which later merged with Cowles & Thompson in Dallas. In private practice, he focused on defending toxic tort, products liability, and other insurance litigation matters. After leaving private practice, he transitioned into academic law librarianship, serving as a reference librarian intern at the D’Angelo Law Library at the University of Chicago.
